Resilient Leadership Through Cancer

Cancer will not define you. It may reshape how you lead.
You don't have to face the storm alone!

I've Been Where You Are

When I was diagnosed with Stage 4 breast cancer, life didn’t stop. There were still clients to serve, decisions to make, responsibilities to manage, and a business that depended on me.

Like many leaders facing cancer, I quickly discovered that while there was support available for my medical care, there was very little guidance for navigating the business and leadership challenges that accompanied the diagnosis.

That experience changed the direction of my life and ultimately inspired the work I do today.

Leading Through Cancer

Over the years, I have navigated multiple cancer diagnoses, including Stage 4 metastatic breast cancer, while continuing to lead my business, support clients, manage responsibilities, and maintain the life I had worked hard to build.

I experienced many of the same questions and concerns that leaders face today:

    • How much should I tell people?
    • What happens if treatment affects my ability to work?
    • How do I continue leading when I don’t always feel strong?
    • How do I protect my business while protecting my health?

Those experiences taught me lessons that no certification program could provide.

Why This Work Matters

No One Should Have to Figure This Out Alone

As I connected with other business owners and executives facing cancer, I discovered a common theme.

Many felt isolated.

Many were trying to protect their teams, clients, families, and organizations while privately carrying the weight of a life-changing diagnosis.

Many had support for treatment but little support for leadership.

That realization inspired me to create a different kind of resource.

One focused on the practical realities of leading through cancer.

My Philosophy

Your Doctors Help You Fight Cancer. I Help You Lead Through It.

Medical professionals focus on treatment.

My role is different.

I help leaders navigate the decisions, challenges, responsibilities, and uncertainties that often accompany a cancer diagnosis.

Together, we focus on protecting what matters most while creating a path forward that aligns with your goals, values, and priorities.

A Few Things About Me

When I’m not working with clients, you’ll usually find me spending time with my three beagles and two cats, hosting conversations with remarkable leaders, mentoring others, volunteering for several organizations, cheering for the University of Colorado Buffaloes, or taking one of the afternoon naps that cancer taught me not to feel guilty about.

Because life is meant to be lived—not just managed.
